In the end of January 2026, the TORPROPEL consortium had a fruitful discussion in Paris during face-to-face M12 project meeting. Over two productive days, partners discussed the current project progress, reviewed upcoming tasks and risks (there are always risks), and shared updates from each Work Package.

Our wide-experienced specialists exchanged insights focused on vitrimeric materials,  sensing technologies, toroidal blades aerodynamic behaviour,  manufacturability of really complex shape of composite blades and capabilities regarding the repairability - all key pillars pushing the TORPROPEL vision forward.

Funded by the European Union, TORPROPEL – Toroidal Propellers for Efficient and Sustainable Aviation – aims to expand the boundaries of aerospace composite propeller manufacturing in advanced manner and contribute to the efficiency of aviation regarding the operational parameters and sustainability.

A big thank you to all partners for their contributions and inspiring discussions — and to our hosts GMI AERO in Paris for physical presentation of modern methods in repairability sector and for securing of a great meeting!
